Tax Area Code Field, Company Information Table

Here you can specify a tax area code for the company. To see the available tax area codes, click the field.

When you post purchase transactions, the program uses this Tax Area code if no Location Code has been entered. If a Location Code has been entered the Tax Area Code associated with that code is used.

The Tax Area code is used in combination with a Tax Group code and the Tax Liable field to find the necessary information for calculating sales tax.
