Appl.-from Item Entry Field, Sales Cr.Memo Line Table

Specifies the number of the item ledger entry that the sales credit memo line is applied from.

If you post a sales credit memo line, the program copies the cost of that line from the adjusted cost of the selected sales item ledger entry.
