How to: Set Up Combinations of General Business Groups and General Product Groups
You enter combinations of general business and general product groups in the General Posting Setup window to have transactions with these combinations of codes posted to the correct general ledger accounts. Before you can set up combinations, you must set up general business groups and general product groups.
To set up combinations of general business and general product groups
In the Search box, enter General Posting Setup, and then choose the related link.
In the General Posting Setup window, select the first code according to the list in the Gen. Bus. Posting Group field.
In the Gen. Prod. Posting Group field, select the desired code according to the list.
Fill in the other fields on the line.
Repeat this procedure until you have set up all the necessary combinations.
