VAT Base Amount Type Field, Gen. Journal Line Table

Specifies the VAT base amount type on the journal.

To see the VAT base amount types that are available, choose the field.

Option	Description
Automatic	The VAT base amount type is automatically found, depending on the type of VAT posted. This option is typically used when posting.
With VAT	The amount on the journal line are VAT Base Amount only posted as VAT Base Amount Type including VAT.
Without VAT	The amount on the journal line are VAT Base Amount only posted as VAT Base Amount Type not including VAT.

The With VAT and Without VAT options are used when posting the VAT amount and the base amount separately.

To post the VAT amount only, use the VAT Calculation Type field in the VAT Posting Setup table to select the type of VAT to post.
