How to: Finish Production Orders

Production orders are finished by changing the status of the released production order to a finished production order.

To finish a production order

In the Search box, enter Released Prod. Order, and then choose the related link.
Open the released prod. order you want to finish.
On the Actions tab, in the Functions group, choose Change Status.
Select Finished. Enter the posting date. In addition, you can update the unit cost according to the actual costs.
Choose the Yes button to confirm your entries. The released production order is finished.
