Workspaces

In Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012, application development is performed in a separate workspace from the application itself. Developer tools are available in the Development Workspace if a developer license is installed. The user interface elements for end-users are displayed in the Application workspace. This section describes the Development Workspace, the Application Workspace, and how you can use workspaces for development of an application.
