How to Delete Information by Using the Customer and Orders Manager

You can delete the following items by using Commerce Server Customer and Orders Manager:

  • Payment methods.

  • Shipping methods.

  • Site terms.

  • Orders.

  • Baskets.

  • Profiles.

To delete payment methods, shipping methods, and site terms

  1. Click Start, point to Microsoft Commerce Server 2007 , and then click Customer and Orders Manager.

  2. In Commerce Server Customer and Orders Manager, in the Views pane, click the type of item that you want to delete (Payment Methods, Shipping Methods, or Site Terms).

  3. In the <Item> Methods screen, select the item that you want to delete.

  4. In the Tasks pane, click Delete <Item> Method(s), or click Delete if deleting a site term.

  5. In the Commerce Server Customer and Orders Manager dialog box, click Yes.

To delete orders, baskets, and profiles

  1. Click Start, point to Microsoft Commerce Server 2007 , and then click Customer and Orders Manager.

  2. In Commerce Server Customer and Orders Manager, in the Views pane, click the type of item that you want to delete (Orders, Baskets, or Profiles).

  3. In the Search <Item> pane, on the Search tab, do the following:

    To do this

    Look in

    Select the profile type that you want to search.

    Look for

    Select what you want to search for.

    Keyword

    Type a word or phrase on which you want to search.

  4. Click Find.

  5. In the Search Results pane, select the item that you want to delete.

  6. In the Tasks pane, click Delete <Items(s)>.

  7. In the Commerce Server Customer and Orders Manager dialog box, click Yes.
