The Factory Operations Agent acts as an assistant to IT administrators and factory operator personnel.

Use cases

The template was designed to:

  • Help IT administrators with their questions related to setting up the Factory Operations Agent in Azure AI. These questions include the steps for deploying, configuring, and managing the agent. Sample prompts include queries such as, How should one troubleshoot a BadRequest error during deployment, and what are the common causes?, What are the capacity values for the GPT and embedding models in the Azure OpenAI setup, and what factors influence these values?, What are the limitations regarding switching between Basic and Standard SKUs in the deployment?

  • Help factory operations personnel to get answers to complex manufacturing data-based questions and derive insights. Sample queries can be What was the OEE of line-Y in the previous shift?, Which three reason codes correspond to the highest unplanned downtime for line-X in the previous month?, and Which quality tests failed for Order-N?
