List licenseDetails

Namespace: microsoft.graph

Retrieve a list of licenseDetails objects for enterprise users. This API returns details for licenses that are directly assigned and those transitively assigned through memberships in licensed groups.

This API is available in the following national cloud deployments.

Permissions

Choose the permission or permissions marked as least privileged for this API. Use a higher privileged permission or permissions only if your app requires it. Important

In delegated scenarios with work or school accounts, the signed-in user must be assigned a supported Microsoft Entra role or a custom role with the microsoft.directory/users/licenseDetails/read role permission. The following least privileged roles are supported for this operation:

• Guest Inviter
• Directory Readers
• Directory Writers
• License Administrator
• User Administrator

GET /users/{id}/licenseDetails

Optional query parameters

This method supports the $select query parameter. For general information, see OData query parameters.

Don't supply a request body for this method.

Response

If successful, this method returns a 200 OK response code and a collection of licenseDetails objects in the response body.
