Toledo and Detroit Events This Week!
Wow! What a week I had. They crammed my little head full of cool info on Visual Studio.NET 2005 out in Redmond. I also got my hands on the 'Refresh' builds of VS.NET 2005 and SQL 2005... cool stuff!
Anyway, this week I'm going to be in Toledo (Tomorrow) and on Thursday I'll be in Detroit. You can sign up for my events by visiting https://www.msdnevents.com and just pick your city.
I've got an exciting demo packed event planned. I'm talking about Infopath SP1 and how to write Managed (C# & VB.NET) code for it. I'm also going to show you how to write a ASP.NET Web Custom Control... and then I'm going to upgrade that custom control to ASP.NET 2.0 in VS.NET 2005... and show you a bunch of other cool features with ASP.NET 2.0. It's a real cool presentation! Did I mention that I'm giving you a DVD full of 8.4GB of info, demos as well as the beta build of VS.NET 2005??? Oh... and one last thing... I'm giving away another PocketPC at each event!!! You must be present to win!
Hope to see you there!

Bill,
Just wanted to say to others that this was a great MSDN event and the Infopath topic really was an eye opener! Some neat possibilities with the product...
My only request for improvement with the event would be with the over 500 (?) new features in VS.Net 2005, you could have intoduced more of the cool new features. Code snippets, exception helpers, syntax help, etc.
Off topic...as a felow private pilot, I loved seeing the C-150 you've got. Brought back memories of landing in Van Wert, OH and needing fuel. When I went looking for somebody, the last time somebody filled out the guest log at the FBO was 2 months earlier. Ouch! After a couple hour wait, I was off to Toledo.
Anyway, thanks for speaking today. Back to the DVD chock full of stuff...
