Welcome to the text blog! We decided to start this blog for several reasons: to show you a lot of the cool text and text layout features we have in Windows Presentation Foundation (formerly known as Avalon), to describe some of the design decisions we’ve made and explain why things work the way they do, and most importantly, to get your feedback on what you like and don’t like in WPF.

We’re pretty excited about the platform we’ve been building for the past few years particularly around the text and text layout capabilities and hope you find this blog useful!
