Showing Microsoft PSTN Calling at work.

PSTN calling from Microsoft will really change the game in terms of providing telephony services for companies. Whereas at the moment getting telephony for your company could take weeks or months you can now just subscribe to office 365, provision numbers, assign them to users and make calls within a matter of minutes.

This service is currently provided in the USA only but we will be looking to expand the service over time.

The following video clip show's how simple it is for an Office 365 Admin to request telephone numbers for your tenant.

This shows a few numbers being added but you could get 1000s to setup a new HQ which really does speed up business flexibility.

The next clip shows how simple it is to assign a number to a user.

If you wanted to do this at scale you would do this with Microsoft PowerShell scripting.

Then you can simply login with the SfB client and make calls to users. This shows me ringing my Mum using the newly created telephone number.
