NVIDIA 3D Vision Showcase–Powered by Silverlight

You may remember that we showed the world’s first 1080p live 3D web stream last month at IBC in Amsterdam. This demo used NVIDIA’s 3D Vision system, which works with 120Hz displays and consists of active shutter glasses and an infra-red emitter.

Now NVIDIA has unveiled a showcase with lots of 3D video content for you to enjoy if you have their system over on 3dvisionlive.com. Best of all, it is powered by Silverlight and IIS Smooth Streaming!

We’re having a lot of fun with our brand new ASUS G51Jx 3D laptop, which is unique in that it builds the infra red emitter into the screen.
