Well, I’m back. Comments have been re-enabled, so you can now read thoughts that had been added to posts before I left.

And, now that I’ve actually been to Galveston, I’m really left wondering exactly what Glen Campbell was pining about. If anyone has any idea, please let me know.

    To understand galveston you have to have spent time in houston. By comparison galveston is paradise.

    Houston is where we stayed. My cousin lives on W. Lamar St. And, if I had to pick a place to live, it would be the Seabrook/Kemah area. Plenty of nice moorage for the boat, great restaurants, and sailing to my heart's content.
