Vista product page with magic screenies

is finally changed. <sigh of relief> .

please see the new images at

https://www.microsoft.com/windows/products/windowsvista/features/details/directx.mspx

which match the released FSX-SP2 product now.

who knows, maybe I will be able to get the Vista blog page changed to but since that is "semi-unofficial" as a blog page that might be harder than the product page. hopefully this will make those who kept on referencing the Vista product page happier now.

The phrase "Closing the door when the horse has bolted" springs to mind. ArchCarrier

Arch: how about "better late than never"? given various forum denizens have been pointing at that page in a negative way, this is progress of a sorts.

phil, can you leave any comment on what the Aces team would like to see in FS11 in regards to the DX10 stuff, versus what was out in FSX with just the DX10 preview.  how much more can you get into FS with full blown DX10?

Not bad idea talking about the upcoming FS11... short life to the FSX version, still long life FS9 I hope.

All: given FS11 isnt due out until after TrainSim2, and that isnt out until 2009 - it is way too early to talk about FS11. Sometime soon I will be able to start detailing what we have done for Trains, and sometime after that maybe I can start to talk about FS11. So do not expect anything too soon. And FSX will have a quite nice shelf life, which 3DPs will like I believe.
