Introducing the Cloud and Datacenter Solutions Hub
It’s been months in the making and we’ve been waiting for it with great anticipation. Now it’s here! That’s right – the Private Cloud Solutions Hub has been reborn as the new and improved and extremely useful Cloud and Datacenter Solutions Hub.
The Cloud and Datacenter Solutions hub aims to help you get started with cloud computing. That includes private cloud, public cloud, hybrid cloud, IaaS, PaaS and SaaS. We’ve organized the information around four tiles:
- Explore. When you click the Explore tile, you’ll see links to information that will help you get started with cloud computing. Start here if you just beginning your trek into the world of cloud computing.
- Architect and Plan. Cloud computing is your chance to start over – to realize the datacenter that you always wanted but somehow it didn’t work out that way. The way to get the lean and mean datacenter that services your users best is to start with a well architected and designed solution. When you click this tile, you’ll see a ton of great links that lead you to core architectural principles and patterns that will help you create the best cloud solution possible.
- Solutions. When you click the Solutions tile, you’ll see a ton of end to end solutions for cloud related topics. These solutions are all tested and found to be working, so you can take them and deploy them as you see fit.
- Community. This section includes a feed of recent cloud computing related blog posts, wiki articles and other community minded content and events.
In every article we’ll do in the Building Clouds blog, we’ll include the following graphic that will take you to the Cloud and Datacenter Solutions Hub:
I hope you’ll get a chance to visit the Cloud and Datacenter Solutions Hub and that you’ll find the content helpful as you move to the cloud. If there is anything you think we can do to improve the experience, or if there is some content or information you’d like to see there, let us know! You can write to me a tomsh@microsoft.com and I’ll see what we can do.

Tom

Thanks Tom for laying it out simply. I have written a post on introducing cloud solutions in a layman for beginners. Can you let me know your thoughts on it? www.sachinsadare.in/cloud-solutions-introduction/
