XPathmania - XPath in VS

This is a cool little plug-in from DonXML for VS that lets you run XPath statements against the currently opened XML document.  I’ve been waiting for something like this!!  I write a lot of XPath and this sure makes testing the expressions sooooo much easier.

Thanks to Jason Haley for posting this on his blog in “Interesting Finds: July 7, 2006”.

You can download the latest build and should check out DonXml’s blog post on the tool.  The MS XML Team’s Blog has a post on XPathmania as well.  It took me a moment to find the tool after installing it, it’s at the “View” / “Other Windows” / “XPathmania” menu.  Thanks Don!

    Thanks, glad you liked it.  And yes, it is weird having to go over to the  “View” / “Other Windows” / “XPathmania” menu item to view the view for the first time, but that is why I made that the first screen shot in my blog post.
