MS Word Tip: Automatic Bold on Bulleted Lists
I was just typing along just now and stumbled on this handy feature of MS Word. As a PM, I practically live in Word, so it is exiting to find a new, quite unexpected, feature that I can use on an almost daily basis.
Say you want to create a bulleted list with headers, like this:
– Attending: Noah, Dawn, Bill
– Can’t Make It: George, Sue, Azeem
– No RSVP: Hank, Scott, Abhijit
MS Word will detect there’s bolding before the semicolon and when you hit [enter] for the next line, it will turn on bold, you type, and when you type the semicolon, bold is automatically turned off. Coolness
I recored a <1min video of MS Word Bulletted List Bolding so you can see it in action (the video includes audio).

As a frequent Word user, this is a feature I knew nothing of but will use. Nice to be alerted to it. Enjoyed the "training video!"Anonymous

It would be really nice if Word can Auto-Bold certain words - similar to how auto-correct works - is this possible already?Anonymous
