Microsoft judged to be OSD compliant?

Two of our (i.e. Microsoft's) Shared Source licenses - Microsoft Public License and Microsoft Reciprocal License -  have just been deemed to be Open Source Definition (OSD) compliant by OSI. Admittedly, these 2 licenses apply to a fairly specific subset of the computing population, so we can't really jump around and say we're being 'at one' with the open source lads and lasses yet, but it's vey interesting to see the ways things are going.

So what does this mean for the average 'computing scientist'? Well, the OSI approval means developers have one more choice if they want to ensure their work is OSD compliant.
