Freeze! Free tech software offered to all students globally
News just in, Microsoft has released DREAM SPARK, a student program designed to offer 'Professional-grade software developer and designer tools' to all students at no charge (https://www.microsoft.com/Presspass/press/2008/feb08/02-18GSDPR.mspx). This is a huge initiative by Microsoft in providing the student community with the best software and developer tools to assist in technical growth and to further help address the I.T skills shortage in Australia. Dream Spark is not available in Australia just yet however; it will be released within the next six months so keep your eyes posted here for the official release date! Very exciting... HI Khai Yes, it's definitely in the works for Aussie students and we have been working hard to make it happen, but with something this big it can take a little bit of time to roll out worldwide. Watch this space for an official Aussie release. Believe me, I'm as anxious as you are to get it rolled out :D Nick (one half of MSOZACADEMIC)Anonymous
