Microsoft Dynamics CRM 4.0 - Named instances
As you might know, we at first did not support Microsoft SQL Server named instances out of the box when installing v3. At the time I discovered a workaround which got tested and approved by the support team, resulting in a "official" way to install Microsoft Dynamics CRM 3.0 on a computer running a named instance of Microsoft SQL Server.
No more workaround!
We will support named instances out of the box with Microsoft Dynamics CRM 4.0. This is really valuable for organizations such as banks and insurance companies where security is really critical.
