Microsoft's IE8 Catches Most 'Social Malware' - News and Analysis by PC Magazine

The malware above is “socially engineered malware”. I just got one this morning via Facebook mail - “You wwere caught nnaked in the bathroom” was the subject line, and they had video to prove it. Not that I haven’t been, but I’m pretty sure there’s no video. You’re welcome ;-) So, while IE 8 might be tops currently in catching these (SmartScreen filtering), FB and webmail  have a ways to go.
