And, the survey says???
Learning what customers think about your web site or online product should be easy, but in big corporations, that's not always the case. Rules around how and when you talk to your customers can get in the way - because we do need to respect both online privacy and personal preferences for being contacted. So apart from hosting expensive focus groups, or spamming the world with online surveys, what are you gonna do?
An easy way to get ad-hoc (and free) customer feedback is with an instant poll. Lots of web sites have 'em - just a single question with a few easy-to-get choices - located somewhere visible on your web page. I'm trying one right now on my Poll site. Give it a ride, and let me know what you think. BTW - the free service I'm trying here (no affiliation or sponsorship) - lets you create multiple polls, and it will rotate through them with each refresh. No need for a link out - you'll see the site when you try the poll.
Next step would be to move this to our web site. One day at a time :-)
