ADO.NET Entity Framework developer guide on MSDN
With the recent release of Visual Studio Code Name "Orcas" Beta 1, folks now have more recent bits with which to take a look at what's coming for the ADO.NET Entity Framework. The Virtual PC downloads take a while, so in the mean time I can recommend taking a look at the ADO.NET Entity Framework topic on MSDN.
The docs have conceptual explanations (personally, I think the distinctions made between models and implementation is a great strength), some how-tos, and very useful references for schemas and the Entity SQL language.
In the coming days, I hope to post some interesting things that can be done with the EDM that were very difficult or impossible to do before.
