Working with ASP.NET Controls in FrontPage
I wanted to post a quick note about an add-in that one of the FrontPage testers, Harris Chan, developed for working with ASP.NET controls in FrontPage. To be honest, I just installed it, so I haven't had a lot of time to work with it. If you're interested in downloading and installing the add-in, you can find it on the FrontPage Add-in Center
If you have any comments or questions, feel free to post them. I'll forward them onto Harris.

If you are using FrontPage 2003, you shouldn't have any problem displaying HTML controls and ASP.NET Web controls. However, ASP.NET Web controls may not display correctly in previous versions of FrontPage where ASP.NET is likely not recognized as valid.
Generally, the only problems that arise are with custom Web controls. These may not display properly in FrontPage 2003 if the control has even one very small programming problem.
If you are using FrontPage 2003 and are not able to view ASP.NET built-in Web controls, try shutting FrontPage down, clearing out your temporary internet files and/or your internet history. If you continue to have problems, you may want to check out the KB articles located at http://support.microsoft.com/search/default.aspx?InCC_hdn=true&Catalog=LCID%3D1033%26CDID%3DEN-US-KB%26PRODLISTSRC%3DON&withinResults=&QuerySource=gASr_Query&Product=fp2003&Queryc=ASP.NET&Query=ASP.NET&KeywordType=ALL&maxResults=25&Titles=false&numDays=&InCC=on, or feel free to comment again and include your email address so that I can contact your directly and help you discover what the problem is. - Anonymous

I am unable to view my ASP.NET .aspx pages in Frontpage 2003. I can see the code, but I can't use the "design" or "preview" options. I'm only looking to make layout changes. Is there something I'm missing?
