I guess I'm slow to the party, but I just found out about RPC
over HTTP in Outlook 2003. Woo hoo! With my laptop and the wireless network in
my house, this makes it so easy (and quick!) to stay up-to-date on work stuff.
No really, it will be quicker because now I won't be distracted by those internal
Sharepoint sites and fileshares while I'm RASed in. Really. And then there's the very
real but slightly less tangible benefit that I won't have to wear that dorky I-left-my-cardkey-in-the-smartcard-reader
stick on badges ever again!
