May 27 – June 3 Hot-Fix KB articles Weekly Release - Developer

Hi Everyone,

Last week, 16 Developer products related hot-fix KB articles were released, and 6 forWindows Embedded system, 2 for Visual Studio, 3 for .Net Framework, 3 for BizTalk Server, 1 for Service for NISand 1 is for IIS 7. Below are the details:

Windows Embedded system - 6 KB articles:

·       963076    FIX: The NLS Compression tool crashes when you build a localized OS image on a Windows Vista-based computer in Windows Embedded CE 6.0

·       968548    FIX: When you disconnect from a server that needs authentication, an application that uses WinInet functions to connect to the server may crash on a Windows Embedded CE 6.0-based device

·      968794    FIX: Source files do not exist under the \public\fp_voip\oak\codecs directory in Windows Embedded CE 6.0 R2

·       970061    FIX: When you download a phone book from a Windows Embedded NavReady-based device to a phone that is paired with the device, you experience some problems

·      970724    FIX: A handle leak occurs when the Pictor service is updated several times on a Windows Embedded CE 6.0 R2-based device

·       967106    FIX: You cannot access a NAND flash driver that is registered for power management notification after you suspend and resume a Windows Embedded CE 6.0-based device

Visual Studio - 2 KB articles:

·       967706    FIX: Error message when you build a project that has a very large function in Visual Studio 2005 Service Pack 1: "C1063: compiler limit: compiler stack overflow Internal Compiler Error"

·      963035    FIX: When you use WPF designer or you rebuild a WPF application in the Visual Studio 2008 Service Pack 1 (SP1) IDE, the IDE stops responding and you receive a message in the notification area: "Microsoft Visual Studio is Busy"

.Net Framework - 3 KB articles:

·       967613    FIX: An application that monitors event log entries crashes when it calls the Dispose method of the System.Diagnostics.EventLog class

·       967615    FIX: SafeTokenHandle objects and SafeLocalAllocHandle objects are never discarded in a .NET Framework 2.0 SP2-based application or in a .NET Framework 3.5 SP1-based application

·       968227    FIX: An exception in the XAML parser is thrown when you run a WPF application on a computer that has customized English (United States) regional settings

BizTalk Server - 3 KB articles:

·        969217   FIX: Event ID 14014 is logged in the BizTalk Server Application log and BAM Alerts are not sent as expected

·        969558   FIX: Error message when you try to deploy BAM update when partitioning is enabled for an existing activity: “All queries combined using a UNION, INTERSECT or EXCEPT operator must have an equal number of expressions in their target lists”

·        970075   FIX: A Message Disposition Notification (MDN) is not received when the compression feature is enabled for the AS2 adapter in Microsoft BizTalk Server

Service for NIS - 1 KB article:

·       969839    Map data still exists in the MapCache file after you run the "nismap del" command on a computer that is running Windows Server 2003 R2 and has Server for Network Information Service (NIS) installed

Internet Information Server 7 - 1 KB article:

·       967070    FIX: Authorization Rules in Microsoft Internet Information Service (IIS) 7 do not work if these rules contain a user who does not exist
