My latest gadget – Zune HD Platinum

Yes, I’m one of the ones who pre-ordered a Zune HD and got it delivered on the day of release.

It’s thin.

It’s light.

It syncs fast.

It has a browser.

It has installable apps.

The desktop client software is pretty cool too – a bunch of improvements and a bunch of new features

So yes, I’m a pretty happy Zune user so far.

All it’s missing is a radio stack and it would be a perfect converged device.  Looking forward to seeing what the team is cooking up next!

My only problem is wrestling with my kids to use it.

  I was about to order a Zune HD to replace my Zune 4. But given the new 4.0 PC client software has so many podcast related issues (I listen mainly to podcasts) then I am seriously questioning the idea... I hope they get the issues resolved...
