Sampath's Bio
I am Sampath, an SDET in the Embedded Windows Team.
I graduated in Physics and then in Electronics and Communications Engineering. I recently completed an MBA for fun. My career started as a programmer doing automation of a process control system for a Cement plant in the early days of windows NT. Then I moved to Intel, Oregon and worked on a project called USB without ever realizing what its future will be. After a couple of years at Intel I moved to Microsoft and joined the Direct Show team. Since then I have worked in the Media Player and PnP teams before moving to the exciting world of embedded OS in April 2008. In the Direct Show team I tested the Video Editing API that apps like Movie Maker is build on. Then was part of the Audio/Video rendering plug-in concept in Media Player. With PnP team I was part of the evil world called driver signing. I am currently testing the next version of the embedded OS.
