Avoiding possible duplicate addresses in Microsoft Dynamics CRM 2011 when integrating with Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012

With the current mappings for addresses between Microsoft Dynamics CRM 2011 and Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012 there is a possibility that you can get duplicate addresses in Microsoft Dynamics CRM 2011 if the address originated in Microsoft Dynamics CRM 2011.  This is due to how we currently process address updates in the Microsoft Dynamics CRM 2011 adapter.  The scenario will be corrected to work properly in our next Connector for Microsoft Dynamics release.  To avoid the situation with your current integration, a duplicate detection rule similar to the one shown below can be created in Microsoft Dynamics CRM 2011 to match an address update returning to Microsoft Dynamics CRM 2011 from Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012.  You will need to ensure that address names are unique within your two systems as well.
