Happy Easter and Request for Topics
Hi everyone.
Just wanted to put up a quick note to say that I am taking a few days leave in addition to the public holidays on the Easter weekend. This is so I can spend the first week of the school holidays with my family.
I have prepared some Dexterity related posts which will publish while I am away.
Please let me know what you think of them. Also if you have any topics that you would like to see covered in the blog, please post a comment to let us know.
See you in a week.
David

Hi David, In the public MBS GP newsgroup i found your discussion on auto logoff from GP using Rockton's Omni Tool inactivity timeout feature. This tool uses dexterity so i was wondering whether a SQL query to a combination of activity, dex_lock, dex_session, SY00800 and SY00801 table could help determine if the user is idle or not. Also using the SQL process id and using SQl commands like sp_who can we determine if the user is idle within GP? Thank you very much for yours posts they have been a guiding light in GP darkness.Anonymous

Hi Dave V Have a look at the recent post by Mariano Gomez as this has a script that could work for you. http://dynamicsgpblogster.blogspot.com/2009/04/retrieving-dynamics-gp-user-idle-time.html Please note that this would still need to be checked on a regular basis to pick up idle users.
