Our third annual deep dive into all things virtual. We bring together speakers from all around the industry to give VERY deep talks about all forms of virtualization. We cover server, desktop, application, presentation, and storage virtualization, "the cloud", and more. This is technical talk, not "marketecture". This is an all day event with multiple tracks. Understanding that some are new to virtualization, we will have some "hit the ground running" sessions to get you started. So whether you are a newbee or an experienced virtualization guru, we will have content that is to your liking. There is so munch content in fact that, like last year, we will be recording most sessions and making them available to attendees so you do not miss any of the action. Attend the sessions that you feel you will have the most questions on and get your questions answered. Then after the event, go back and review the sessions you attended and/or hit the other sessions that you missed through our website.
Vendors, speakers and other virtualization geeks will be onhand to make sure you have an opportunity to get answers to the really tough questions. Who knows you just maybe pick up a bit of swag while you are here. Speaking of swag... For those that attended last year you probably recall the line of tables that was completely full of great stuff. We had so much swag that almost every attendee went home with something. Do you think we can do it again? Take a look at our world class sponsors. Not only are they bringing you knowledge, most of them are bringing goodies. Take a look at the goodies table that Microsoft has donated. It includes:

- XBox 360 Game Lost Odyssey

- Rumor has it that Microsoft and several of the other sponsors are also holding drawings for some really cool software or gadgets at their sessions or tables. More on that the day of the event.
What does the Agenda Look Like? Glad you asked!
During Registration we will have a continental breakfast with coffee and juice in the morning. We will have beverages (including soft drinks) available throughout the day). We then have opening remarks and then the Keynote (HINT: You will not want to miss the Keynote). Then we will break out into different tracks you pick the sessions that are best for you. We will serve a premium sandwich for lunch at about mid day. Then we come back to more sessions, more learning, more networking, more beverages and if all goes well, some snacks. At the end of the day (about the time our cup starts running over) we will wrap things up with door prize drawings for some incredible giveaways. We need those evaluations though. So turn in your evaluation and stick around for the drawing.
All of this is great but what sessions will we have? How about this for a sampling:
- Keynote: The Consumerization of IT (Mobility)
- 10 Hot Topics Every IT Admin Needs to Know about Windows Server 2008 R2 SP1
- Turn Your Desktop Challenges into VDI Best Practices
- Cloud Computing Essentials for IT Pros
- Let's Make It Personal: Virtual Desktops for Everyone (Not Just Another Terminal Server)
There is a strong chance there will be a session that is a must attend for most: “Leveraging an Enormous Technology Community: Get The Answers You Need - When You Need Them” This is a session on networking and making connections to grow the community and your career.
More details on time slots and breakout sessions when we lock down the schedule. For now, you can look to see who we have speaking and their Bios, what topics will be covered in the Event Schedule Page for an overview, or the Details Page for session descriptions.

We have moved the event this year to a much larger, and comfortable site. The students at Regis are off on break this week so we will have the entire building to ourselves. And what a great site to come and learn about Virtualization!
Regis College is on Wellesley Street, which is just a few miles off of I-95 (Rt 128) between Rts 20 and 30 in Weston. Once on site you will find signs to lead you to the free parking right outside Alumni Hall. Registration is on the first floor (lower level), and we recommend parking in the back to use the entrance on that level.
