TechNet Virtual Labs: Assisting in Advancing Your IT Expertise and Career

Many of you may have recently attended a CANITPRO camp presided by Pierre Roman or I recently at a Canadian city near you.  Those who attend have very exuberant as to what they have absorbed in terms of hands on labs and material presented.  Many return to the organizations they represent and have implemented strategies or best practices learned and many others hunger to learn more.  We at CANITPRO have created a plethora of lab guides to further test best practices and to allow you to establish new ideas to better enable your organization.  Not everyone though has the luxury of a spare computer, let alone server, to spin up said labs and completing labs on production hardware is a definite no-no.

Recently, an older post published by Microsoft Canada's very own Damir Bersinic was brought to our attention as we were notified the links provided needed to be updated.  When investigating said post we noticed the announcement of many provided virtual labs all of which could be enabled without leaving your desk.  All that is required is an internet connection, a supported browser, a supported OS, and administrator permissions on your computer to install the hands-on lab client the first time.

An updated list of the available labs include:
