Microsoft Azure Government cloud for mainframe applications

Larry has already published an article this year, Microsoft Azure Government cloud for mainframe applications. This quick guide shows how United States government agencies and their partners can use Azure Government for mainframe applications. Azure Government delivers the advantages of a mainframe in a more cost-efficient and agile environment. Read the article.

Just this week, we published four articles from Larry on the Azure Architecture Center's new Cloud Adoption Framework:

  1. Mainframe migration overview
  2. Mainframe myths and facts
  3. Make the switch from mainframes to Azure
  4. Mainframe application migration

In 2018, Larry contributed a number of articles on mainframe migration, including Deploy IBM Db2 pureScale on Azure and Demystifying mainframe to Azure migration. Both articles are featured in the Mainframe Migration to Azure - Portal. You can find all of Larry's content using his tag:

AzureCAT wants to thank Larry for his contributions to the Microsoft community thus far, and we look forward to much more!
