Service Update 5 Released to Production

Service Update 5 for SQL Azure is now live in all datacenters worldwide. This release primarily focused on delivering internal operational improvements to enable future feature additions. As part of this update, SQL Azure now provides support for the sp_tableoption system stored procedure. For more information, see sp_tableoption (SQL Azure Database).
Several improvements and updates were also made to the MSDN documentation. These include:
- Hints: The Supported Transact-SQL Statements (SQL Azure Database) topic now provides more information on Hints.
- Error Messages: The Error Messages (SQL Azure Database) topic now provides information on how to decode the throttling errors. For more information, see Reason Codes.
- Microsoft Sync Framework 2.1: The Migrating Databases to SQL Azure topic now describes the support for Microsoft Sync Framework 2.1.
