How to remove OneDriveFileProvide-Personal folder on macos

Question

I have already removed the OneDrive app, but the folder still contains the OneDriveFileProvider-Personal directory in /Users/user_name/Library/CloudStorage, and I can't remove it.

I tried the following commands:

sudo rm -rf OneDriveFileProvider-Personal sudo chflags -R nouchg,nodump OneDriveFileProvider-Personal chmod -N OneDriveFileProvider-Personal sudo chown -R $USER OneDriveFileProvider-Personal sudo chmod -R u+rwx OneDriveFileProvider-Personal lsof | grep "OneDriveFileProvider-Personal"  sudo kill -9 731 csrutil disable

Do you mean there is no "Move to Bin" option to delete this folder?

I suggest you check whether you have enough permission to delete it. For more, you may refer to: Change permissions for files, folders or disks on Mac.

If yes, you have Write & Read permission on it, it's recommended to install OneDrive back (When you sign in, OneDrive will prompt you that a folder already exists: select Use this folder.), and then unlink the account, check whether this "sync root" folder disappears.

If not, please reset the OneDrive, check whether you can delete this folder.
