Review the following information to prepare your development environment before completing the guided project.

Prerequisites

You need the following tools to complete this lab:

• Admin access to a Microsoft 365 tenant: The Microsoft 365 Developer program provides access to a free Microsoft 365 E5 instant sandbox. This is recommended so that you can run the apps with sample data.
• The ability to upload custom apps in your Microsoft 365 tenant: Prepare your development environment.
• An Azure subscription: Sign up for free..
• Visual Studio Code.
• The Microsoft Teams client.
• Teams Toolkit Visual Studio Code Extension version 5.0.0 and higher.
• Node.js: supported versions: 16 or 18.
