IDirectDraw4::GetCaps (Windows CE 5.0)
This method fills in the capabilities of the device driver for the hardware and the hardware-emulation layer (HEL).
HRESULT GetCaps( LPDDCAPSlpDDDriverCaps,LPDDCAPSlpDDHELCaps);
Parameters
- lpDDDriverCaps
Address of a DDCAPS structure that will be filled with the capabilities of the hardware, as reported by the device driver. Set this parameter to NULL if device driver capabilities are not to be retrieved. - lpDDHELCaps
Address of a DDCAPS structure that will be filled with the capabilities of the HEL. Set this parameter to NULL if HEL capabilities are not to be retrieved.
Return Values
If the method succeeds, the return value is DD_OK.
If the method fails, the return value may be one of the following error values:
DDERR_INVALIDOBJECT |
DDERR_INVALIDPARAMS |
You can only set one of the two parameters to NULL to exclude it. If you set both to NULL the method will fail, returning DDERR_INVALIDPARAMS.
Remarks
In Windows CE, the HEL capabilities will be returned only if the HEL DLL is present on the system. Otherwise, it will appear as if the HEL has no capabilities.
