IOCTL_FMD_SET_XIPMODE (Windows CE 5.0)
This IOCTL sets the XIP mode to either XIP or non-XIP mode. In XIP mode, the sector information is not stored along with each sector. In non-XIP mode, a FMD must store the corresponding sector information in SectorInfo for each sector.
Parameters
- hDevice
[in] Handle to the block device. - dwIoControlCode
[in] Specifies this IOCTL. - lpInBuffer
[in] Pointer to a BOOL value. Set to TRUE to set XIP mode. Set to FALSE to set non-XIP mode. - nInBufferSize
[in] Size of the BOOL value. - lpOutBuffer
[out] Not used. Set to NULL. - nOutBufferSize
[out] Not used. Set to zero (0). - lpBytesReturned
[out] Not used. Set to NULL. - lpOverlapped
[in] Not used.
Return Values
Returns TRUE on success. Returns FALSE on failure.
