IOCTL_FMD_SET_XIPMODE (Windows CE 5.0)

This IOCTL sets the XIP mode to either XIP or non-XIP mode. In XIP mode, the sector information is not stored along with each sector. In non-XIP mode, a FMD must store the corresponding sector information in SectorInfo for each sector.

Parameters

  • hDevice
    [in] Handle to the block device.
  • dwIoControlCode
    [in] Specifies this IOCTL.
  • lpInBuffer
    [in] Pointer to a BOOL value. Set to TRUE to set XIP mode. Set to FALSE to set non-XIP mode.
  • nInBufferSize
    [in] Size of the BOOL value.
  • lpOutBuffer
    [out] Not used. Set to NULL.
  • nOutBufferSize
    [out] Not used. Set to zero (0).
  • lpBytesReturned
    [out] Not used. Set to NULL.
  • lpOverlapped
    [in] Not used.

Return Values

Returns TRUE on success. Returns FALSE on failure.
