This method returns the execution mode for code located at a given address.

HRESULT GetExecModeAtAddress(  [in] ADDRESS_TYPE AddrCode,  [out] DWORD* pdwExecMode);

Parameters

  • AddrCode
    Address of the code within the routine that the execution mode is needed for.

  • pdwExecMode
    Pointer to the value of the execution mode for code where the address is found.

    By convention, this value should be 0 for the default 32-bit mode and 1 for 16-bit mode.

Return Values

The following table shows the return values for this method.

Value Description
S_OK Indicates the function was successful.
E_OUTOFMEMORY Indicates an out of memory error.
E_ACCESSDENIED Indicates the specified object is no longer valid.
E_FAIL Indicates an unspecified failure.
