Opening a Run-time Image for Debugging (Windows Embedded CE 6.0)

You can open an existing run-time image for debugging or modification in the Platform Builder integrated development environment (IDE).
A run-time image can be a .bin file, such as NK.bin or flash.bin, or an .nb0 file, such as diskimage.nb0 or kernel.nb0.
To open a run-time image
Create the run-time image you want to debug or modify.
Open Visual Studio.
From the File menu, select Open, and then select File.
In the Open File dialog box, select Windows Embedded CE Run-Time Images in the Files of type box.
Select the .bin or .nb0 image file that you want, and click Open.
