This method creates a custom list of CPU registers given by name.

HRESULT CreateCpuRegCustomList(  [in] DWORD dwNbRegsInList,  [in, size_is(dwNbRegsInList)] LPOLESTR* pszRegName,  [out] IeXdi2EnumCpuRegs** ppieXdi2EnumCpuRegs);

Parameters

  • dwNbRegsInList
    Number of CPU registers in the custom list.
  • pszRegName
    Pointer to the array of CPU register names.
  • ppieXdi2EnumCpuRegs
    Pointer to the IeXdi2EnumCpuRegs object interface for the newly created custom list of CPU registers.

Return Values

The following table shows return values for this method.

Value Description
S_OK Indicates the function was successful.
E_FAIL Indicates an unspecified failure.
E_OUTOFMEMORY Indicates an out of memory error.
E_INVALIDARG Indicates one or more invalid arguments.
EXDI_E_COMMUNICATION Indicates a communication error between host driver and debugging target.
