The OAK directory contains component files, such as development tools.

The OAK directory contains the following directories.

Directory Contents
Files The Intltrns directory, which contains files that include localized device-specific strings for supported languages.
Htmlhelp Files that provide sample HTML user help for Microsoft® Internet Explorer for Windows CE.
IESample Files that provide support for an Internet-demonstration system using Internet Explorer components.
IESimple Files that provide sample source files for a simple container for Internet Explorer.
IETheme Files that provide support for a sample custom theme.
Ienetcpl Files that provide support for a sample Internet Control Panel.
Lib Libraries required to build IE components.

The libraries are in directories with the following formats:

  • Cpu\Debug
  • Cpu\Retail

An example is Sh4\Retail.

Do not include your libraries in this directory.

To modify project-specific files, copy the files into your project tree and build the project; then, to correctly link with the appropriate library, update the sources file in the code.

Shdocvwui Files that provide support for the appearance of the browser, including the Shdocvw user interface.
Target Applications and DLLs that make up IE components.

The .dll and .exe files, with their associated .pdb and .map files, are in directories with the following formats:

  • Cpu\Debug

    An example is Sh4\Debug.

  • Cpu\Retail

    An example is Sh4\Retail.

Do not store custom components in this directory. It is only for IE components.

Urlmonui Files that contain the source code for Urlmonui library.
Wininetui Files that contain the source code for Wininetui library.
