CETK NDIS Test Pass Criteria (Windows CE 5.0)
The NDIS tests ensure that the miniport driver for the NIC qualifies as a production quality driver. These tests verify that the miniport driver is functional, conforms to the NDIS specification, and can withstand stress test especially on operations such as sending, receiving, and responding to OID queries.
The general pass criteria are as follows:
- All tests cases should pass unless otherwise specified.
- The miniport driver should not cause any memory leaks or exceptions during or after the test.
- The device may hang temporarily during the tests but it should not be permanent or persistent and the system should fully recover after the test.
