Exporting Edge Subscription files
Updated: February 1, 2011
Applies To: Forefront Threat Management Gateway (TMG)
This topic explains how to export Edge Subscription files from a Forefront TMG server. When generated via the Forefront TMG Management console, Edge Subscription files contain information about all the Edge Transport servers installed in the Forefront TMG array. When the files are imported on the appropriate Hub Transport server, all the Forefront TMG servers in the array are subscribed to the Edge Subscription.
After you perform this procedure, you must import the Edge Subscription file to the computer that has the Hub Transport server role installed within 24 hours.
Before you begin
To perform the following procedure, you must log on by using an account that is a member of the local Administrators group on that computer.
