How to Publish an SCRM Report

After you have customized your SCRM 2006 report, you can publish it to the SCRM 2006 Report Server by using the SCRM 2006 Report Manager. The following procedure shows you how to publish the Add or Remove Programs Inventory Summary report that you customized in How to Switch the Filter Order of an SCRM Report. You can use similar steps to publish other reports that you customize.

To publish an SCRM report

  1. In a supported browser, enter the URL of the SCRM 2006 report server—for example, http://<Webservername>/reports.

  2. Click Microsoft System Center Reporting, SMS Reports, and then click Hardware Inventory.

  3. Click Upload File to display the Upload File Web page.

  4. Click Browse to display the Choose file dialog box.

  5. Navigate to and select the customized .rdl file you previously created.

  6. Click Open to add the file details to the Upload File Web page.

  7. In Name, change the name of the report to differentiate it from the existing report.

  8. Click OK to publish the report.
