Custom Properties and MAPI

Custom properties that you set by using either the WebDAV protocol or the Exchange OLE DB (ExOLEDB) provider are available for use by MAPI clients, including MAPI Microsoft® Outlook® forms. All custom properties are accessible on items as named properties within the PS_PUBLIC_STRINGS MAPI namespace.
