Parameters




    

  • Address
    
The optional SMTP address of the attendee being added.

  • pVal
    
Returned reference to an IAttendee Interface.

Return Value




Returns S_OK if successful, or an error value otherwise.




Remarks




By specifying the SMTP address of the attendee in the Add method, you can add an attendee with a single line of code. The attendee is added as a required participant. For example,




iAppt.Attendees.Add("someone@example.com")




is equivalent to:




Set Atnd = iAppt.Attendees.Add
Atnd.Address = "someone@example.com"
Atnd.Role = cdoRequiredParticipant
