Office Communications Server 2007 R2 支持 Windows Server 2008 既作为运行 Office Communications Server 的服务器，又作为域控制器。对于任何域中至少已包含一个 Windows Server 2008 域控制器的 Active Directory 林，安装新的 Office Communications Server 2007 R2 时无需额外准备即可安装成功。
