Font.PreloadText Method

Loads formatted text into video memory to improve the efficiency of rendering to a device.

Parameters

Type: System.String
The string of characters to load into video memory.

InvalidCallException | The method call is invalid. For example, a method's parameter might contain an invalid value. |
Remarks
This method does not render text to the device; the DrawText method must still be called to render the text. However, preloading text into video memory causes DrawText to use substantially fewer CPU resources.
